Helen Connolly of Ossining died July 24, 2001 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. She was born January 19, 1927 in Jersey City, NJ to John and Helen Bosch Maynes. She married Peter Connolly on August 22, 1952 at St. Paul's Church in Jersey City, NJ. She worked for GPL Precision in Pleasantville and retired from Safe Flight Instrument Corp. where she was the Secretary to the President. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 506. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church. She was an avid reader and took great pleasure in gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Peter, sons, Peter and Kevin of Ossining, grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan, Kevin and Sean Connolly and a brother, Arthur Maynes. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Felz. She will be reposing Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial Saturday at St. Augustine's Church 10:15 am. Burial St. Augustine's Cemetery.
