CONCORD - Helen (Craig) Carter, of Concord, passed away on April 2, 2013, at the age of 104. She was the wife of the late George Carter with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. She was born in Lowell, Mass., on Dec. 7, 1908, to Ernest and Lillian Craig. In the years following her marriage, she lived in Danvers, Mass., then Wenham, Mass., and later moved to Peterborough, before taking residence at Havenwood-Heritage Heights in Concord. She is survived by her daughter, Sara and her husband, William; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Ruth Sheahan of Pembroke, who was like a daughter to her; Sara Norberg of Concord, a devoted friend; and nieces and nephews.
