BRIGGS, Helen Jean (Powell, nee Wells) April 9, 1913, to April 27, 2008. At age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born and lived all her life in Victoria BC. Helen was predeceased by her husbands Charlie Powell, 1974, and Wilf Briggs, 1999, and her sister, Mary Stipe. Sadly missed by daughters Lynne Butler (Jim) of Victoria, Diane Coombs (Dick) of Wroxton, SK, and niece Joanne Stone (Mark) of Victoria, BC as well as 6 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Hart House, for their loving care and attention given to Mom during these last few years of her life. God Bless You.
