SEGESTI - Helen Bow, age 91, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2008. The seventh of nine children, she was born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 26, 1916, to Sarah and William A. Bow. She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony John Segesti, her parents and siblings. A former model and career woman in banking, Mrs. Segesti resided in Wantagh, NY, until moving to Atlanta with her husband in 1986 to be near their grandchildren. Family was everything to her, and she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to the end of her life. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Gloria Segesti of Spring, TX, her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Rod Hanlon of Atlanta, her granddaughter Mora Bow Hanlon and her fiance Robert Hostetter of Atlanta, and her grandson and his wife, Dean and Melissa Hanlon of Charlottesville, VA. Her ashes will be returned to Long Island, NY, and interred in the family cemetery plot at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her grandchildren's alma mater, The Westminster Schools, 1424 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.
