FAIRFAX, S.C.- Mrs. Helen Bessinger Williams, the wife of the late J. Otis Williams, died Sunday morning after an extended illness. She was 91. Mrs. Williams was born October 4, 1912, the daughter of the late John Bessinger and Bertie Bessinger. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was the director of the nursery and made and donated the Chrismons for over 50 years. She was a dance instructor, played piano and enjoyed crafts and gardening. Surviving are two sons, Aurthur Williams of Fairfax and Jimmy Williams of Aiken. There are four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She is predeceased by one son, Fred Williams and one grandson, Jon Williams. Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 18, 2004, at 11:15 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
