MANCHESTER -- Helen (Blakey) Williams, 90, died Jan. 20, 2011, at her residence after a period of declining health. She was born in Manchester on Sept. 28, 1920, to Harold and Martha (Heimann) Blakey. She lived in Manchester most of her life. She worked at several area shoe manufacturers and as a waitress at several area restaurants for many years. She was a member of the Manchester Women's Club for many years and was an active communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She loved life and grabbed it with open arms and an open heart. IN HER LIFE: The family includes her husband of 35 years, John &quot;Bernie&quot; Williams of Manchester; three children, Bob Beauchemin and his wife, Betty, of Tucson, Ariz., Bernie Beauchemin and his wife, Janine, of Stuart, Fla., and Ginni Beauchemin of Lewiston, Idaho; three grandchildren, Cheryl Godbout, Bob Beauchemin and his wife, Laura, and Ken Beauchemin; four great-grandchildren, Racheal, Lindsey, Meghan and Connor. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester.
