Jordan, Helen Anna MitchellHelen Anna Mitchell Jordan, 88, of Lake Road, Aurora, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at her home.Mrs. Jordan was born in Scipioville, the daughter of the late Wilson S. Mitchell and Anna Bradley Mitchell. She has resided in Aurora for most of her life. Helen Anna attended Sherwood Central School and graduated from Wells College with a Bachelors of Science. She worked for Auburn Memorial Hospital Laboratory and Tompkins Community Hospital Laboratory as a Medical Technologist. She was very active in the King Ferry Presbyterian Church and the Wider Parish. Mrs. Jordan also enjoyed gardening, baking and traveling. She is survived by two sons, Leonard P. Jordan Jr., and his wife, Yvonne and Mark B. Jordan and his wife, Judy, all of Aurora; two daughters, Anna Karen Corcoran and her husband, George of Northville, Michigan, and Kathleen E. Jordan and her husband, Alan Boardway of Penfield; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, Jessica and Melissa Jordan, Sean and Cavan Corcoran and Kaden Boardway; two brothers, Wilson S. Mitchell of Scipioville and Bradley Mitchell of Aurora; two brothers-in-law Clifford C. Jordan and his wife Evelyn of Auburn and Stuart J. Jordan and his wife Gertrude of Union Springs; three sisters-in-law Clara Mitchell, Geneva, Mildred Dwyer and her husband William of Syracuse, Esther Kircheimer of LaJolla, California; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard P. Jordan Sr., brother Charles Mitchell and sister Eunice Hicks Miller; brothers-in-law Seward Jordan and Arthur Kircheimer; sisters-in-law Betty Mitchell and Eleanor Jordan.Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2pm Saturday, April 30th in the First Presbyterian Church, King Ferry, with the Rev.
