Helen Alexander Cedar Lake, IN Helen Alexander (nee Taylor), age 95, a lifelong resident of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at the Lowell Healthcare Center in Lowell, IN. She is survived by daughters: Barbara Alexander of Crown Point, IN, Norma (Dennis) Sasseville of Indianapolis, IN and Nola (James) Danner of OH; sons: Gary (Jill) Alexander of Cedar Lake, IN; David (Joanne) Alexander of MI and Roger (Rochelle) Alexander of Lansing, IL; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl, in 1999. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eller-Brady Funeral Home, 8510 Lake Shore Drive, Cedar Lake, IN with Pastor Chuck Hochmuth of the Lowell Church of Christ officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Helen was a former nurses aide at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer, IN. She was a former Regent in the Obdadiah Taylor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
