Hazel Williams, born in 1927, spouse of James-E. Williams, daughter of Richard and Mary-Myrtle-Harvey, mother of Lynda Bagwell, Mike, David, Sandra, Larry and Alma, died on February 6, 2007 at 80 years old.
Hazel Marie Kuykendall Williams, 80, wife of James E. Williams, of 9428 Augusta Road, died at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Richard F. and Mary Myrtle Harvey Kuykendall. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Tabernacle of Praise in Conestee. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Lynda Bagwell Harden and her husband, Mike, of Pelzer; sons, David Williams and his wife, Sandra, of Gray Court, Larry Williams and his wife, Alma, of Greer; sisters, Naomi Burger, Brenda Burdick, Carolyn Fuller, all of Easley, Ruth Beauchamp of Simpsonville; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Andrew Kuykendall and Ed Kuykendall. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, in the chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer, with Bishop Danny W. Gilliland and the Rev. Chadwick Jordan officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family is at the home and will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Memorials may be made to New Life Tabernacle of Praise, P.O. Box 1029, Mauldin, SC 29662.
