Hazel Williams of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011.Hazel was born in Nashua, N.H., a daughter of the late John and Christina Macdonald. Besides her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Harold Williams Jr.; and one brother, Leonard Macdonald. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Pauline Silcox of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one sister, Gladys Ferguson of Fort Walton Beach.Hazel served as a captain in the U.S. Army of Occupation following World War II. She was a graduate of Southern University and Bryan and Stratten School of Business. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was proud of her Scottish Heritage.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso, Fla. The Rev.
