Hazel Florence Green, 87, of 602 Heyward Ave., died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in Anderson. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. and Eva Glenn Green. She was a retired beautician and a member of Chiquola Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Green Jones, and brother-in-law, W. White Jones, of Anderson; two nephews, Dr. Walter F. Jones of McLean, Va., and Dr. David A. Jones of Austin, Texas; three nieces, June Green Hayden of Hilton Head Island, Beth Green Becker of Boiling Springs and RuthAnn Green Alexander of Lexington. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter F. Green Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Chiquola Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ty Childers and the Rev. Ansel Gambrell officiating. Committal services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenville. Memorials may be made to Chiquola Baptist Church, 405 E. Greer St., Honea Path, SC 29654.
