JOHNSON Haywood Leon Johnson entered into Restful Peace on May 13, 2007, in the company of family. He was born August 19, 1940 in Jacksonville, FL to loving parents Haywood Lee & Beatrice Johnson. He was raised in the Blodgett Homes and attended Isaiah Blocker and Stanton Sr. High. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran (3 tours to Vietnam) and a Merchant Seaman. He was preceded in death by his parents Haywood Lee & Beatrice Johnson and baby brother, Allen T. Johnson, Jr. (Pa Pa). He lived a care-free life that was dedicated to meeting the needs of others. He was a born caregiver. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ, his family and his Country! Everyone that had the honor to know "Pop" can tell you his daily goal was in some way "To Touch A Life." He is survived by a Loving family that will truly miss him, wife, Lucille Johnson; son, Broderick Leon Johnson; daughter, Evangelist Angela M. Clark (Robert); grands, Draceka Barrot (Alfredo), Roderick Clark; great grand Jordan Barrot; siblings, Florita E. Pope (Joseph, Sr.), Deacon Robert J. Johnson, Minister Patricia A. Powell (Rev. Robert) of Tallahassee, FL, Minister Janice J. Green (Wilbur); aunt Ethel Wingard; In-laws, Rosboro Cole and Dorothy Cole; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends. A Special Thanks to the McCloud Family (ex In-laws), Jestine, Jackie (mother of his children), Johnnie and John. Funeral service will be Sat. May 19, 2007, 1:00 PM at the Mortuary.
