Hattie Mae Williams Hattie Mae Williams, 77, a retired housekeeper and child-care provider, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church in Woodville, with burial at St. Peter Cemetery. Viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Strong & Jones Funeral Home in Tallahassee (224-2139) and at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.The funeral cortege will assemble at 10 a.m. Saturday at 9906 Raven Williams Circle. A native of Wakulla County, she had lived in Woodville since 1943. She was a former volunteer fund-raiser for the Easter Seal Foundation. She was a member of St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church and served on the Mother's Board.She is survived by four sons, John N. Williams (and wife Cynthia) and Charles D. Williams (and wife Irene, a devoted daughter-in-law), both of Tallahassee, George Williams (and wife Mary) of Orlando and Tommy Lee Williams of Marianna; a daughter, Sarah Williams-Sanders (and husband Tom); a devoted granddaughter and caregiver, Marsha Williams-Hill (and husband Ron); a caring grandson, Charles A. Williams; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Monroe (and wife Thelma) and Alonzo Monroe, both of Tallahassee, and Jasper Monroe of Wakulla; three sisters, Mattie Roberts (a devoted sister) of Tallahassee and Allena Thomas (and husband Eddie) and Dorothy Randolph (and husband Manny T.), both of Wakulla; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
