ALBANY Hattie Mae Sutton Thompson, born January 12, 1912 in Sandersville, Ga., passed away on October 8, 2003. She was the daughter of Jim and Nora Sutton (predeceased), wife of Coleman Thompson (predeceased); predeceased by one son, Sammie Lee Thompson Sr. Survived by two daughters, Nora Ethel Morton and Hattie Julia Johnson; grandmother of five; great-grandmother of five; great-great-grandmother of three. She was one of the founding members of Sojourner Truth A.M.E. Zion Church in Albany. Services will be held Monday, October 13, 2003 at Sojourner Truth A.M.E. Zion Church, 351 Livingston Avenue at 12 noon. Viewing hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Callers will be received at 50 Quail Street. Interment, Graceland Cemetery.
