Hattie L. Williams Hattie L. Williams, 72, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT today at Faith Christian Family Center Inc., with burial at Southside Cemetery. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (224-2139) is handling arrangements. She was a native of Evergreen, Ala., and lived in Tallahassee for about 45 years.She was a member of New Covenant Holy Temple. Survivors include five sons, Curtis Williams, Wilson Williams Jr., Ronnie Williams, Eddie Lewis Williams and Timothy Williams; three daughters, Marquitta Williams, Melody Smith and Karen Williams, all of Tallahassee; two sisters, Katie Bell Kent of Evergreen and Annie Bell Hopson of Birmingham, Ala.; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin and friends.(Editor’s note: Because of errors in the text, we are reprinting this obituary.)
