Harry John Henningsen III, 70, of Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, N.J., surrounded by family. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge, N.J. He was a truck driver with Bilkays Express for over 40 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Teamsters Local 478, and was a past president and coach of the Madison Park Girls Softball League. He loved the N.Y. Yankees from his "dugout", and enjoyed boating, fishing, and crabbing. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol (nee Werner) Henningsen; his children, daughters, Lisa LaConte, of Morganville, N.J., Kim Miller and her husband, Timothy, of Old Bridge, and a son, Jim Henningsen and his wife, Deanna, of West Orange, N.J. Also surviving are a brother, William Henningsen, of Union, N.J.; and his step-mother, Elizabeth Henningsen; six grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Kaitlyn LaConte, Taylor Miller, Nicholas La Conte, Mackenzie Miller, Cameron Henningsen.
