Harry Arthur Anderson, 63, of East Windsor, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd., Union City, N.J. Interment is private. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3. Harry was born in Jersey City, N.J., and was a lifelong resident of Weehawken, N.J., moving to East Windsor 10 years ago. He was a sports celebrity in Hudson County, N.J., as a star basketball player for Weehawken High School, Jacksonville University, and St. Peter's College. He was given All-County and All-State honors in high school and was eventually named to the Weehawken High, St. Peter's College, and Hudson County halls of fame. He was a police officer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 24 years, retiring in 1999. He will be greatly missed by his many close friends and comrades of the Port Authority Police Department. Harry was the beloved husband of Rhoda Anderson; the dear brother of Diane Bollerman and her husband, Tom, as well as the loving uncle of Jen Bollerman Becker, Jeffrey, and Thomas Bollerman.
