MILLER Harriet Miller passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born July 16, 1933 to Jacob Tullen and Mathilda Weiss in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania, she later earned an MSW from Temple University. Harriet was an avid reader who embraced nature, life and learning, and was devoted to animals, including her two dogs and two cats. Above all, she valued her friendships. Harriet is survived by her three children, Andrea Sohn, Julie Sohn, and David Sohn and her grandson Nathan Wescott. A celebration of Harriet's life will be held at Alco House on Sunday at 2 pm.
