Harold Simpson Munster Harold Simpson, 84, of Munster, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2003. Loving wife of 62 years, Helen. Fond son-in-law of Anthony Romanovich of Bonita Bay, FL. Beloved brother of Charles (Nancy) Simpson of Munster, IN and sister, Mary (Edwin) Baldrige of Nebraska; Fond grandfather of James Romanovich, Jon Romanovich, Cathy McCaugn, Candy (Scott) Forsythe and great-grandchildren Brian, Katie, Hayley and Emily. He was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Romanovich and son, Harold Simpson, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 11 AM at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois, with Rev. Bruce E. Haapalainen officiating. Interment, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Simpson was Past Commander of the VFW Post #2697 of Munster who will hold services Sunday at 7 PM. He was a lifetime member of the Munster Lions Club; member of the Community Veterans Memorial Committee and worked for Blaskovich Chevrolet. He was a Veteran of WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
