Obituary of Harold R. Wright


Harold R. Wright 1940 - 2012 PALMER - Harold "Hal" R. Wright, 72, of Flynt St., passed away at home on September 1, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born July 7, 1940 in Ware, MA, son of Harold L. and Mary (Starzyk) Wright. He served his country in the US Navy. Hal worked with his father as a mechanic and worked as a steel fabricator for CPC Engineering in Sturbridge, MA. He was a talented wood worker. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jo Anne (Pilon) Wright of Palmer. He leaves a sister Cynthia and husband Joseph Shepard of W. Brookfield, daughter Karen Wright and friend Michael Johnson of Rhode Island and a son James Wright of Belchertown. He will also be missed by grandsons James and Keith Rosseel, granddaughter Erin Wright, one great granddaughter, extended family members, many nieces, nephews and friends. He leaves a close nephew Matt Pilon-Lancaster and his very special neighbors the Karl Hasenjagers. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church. Burial is at the convenience of the family and Beers & Story Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Shriner's Hospital, Carew St., Springfield, MA, or to a charity of ones choice. For more details, please visit www.beersandstory.com.
