Harold R. Peters, 103 years old, of Bellingham, died on Wednesday June 19, 2013. Born in Everett, son of the late Robert and Mary (Miller) Peters, he was the husband of the late Irene L. (Angus) Peters, who died in 2005. He was a longtime resident of Bellingham and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Harold worked for many years at the Draper Corp. in Hopedale for many years. He was a member of the V.F. W. in Medway and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and especially his entire family. He is survived by one daughter, Elaine R. Weber of Framingham, two grandchildren, Melissa A. Weber of Framingham and Christopher Weber and his wife Hillary of Kentucky; seven great-grandchildren, Alanna Herring, Logan Weber, Maia Weber, Sophia Weber, Savanna Herring, Colton Weber and Makenna Herring and many nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Russell R. Peters, who died in 1965 and father-in-law of the late Gary Weber and brother of the late Ralph, Richard, Robert and Bobby Peters, Ruth White and Virginia Niles. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no funeral home calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham.
