OWENS, Harold Raymond (16-year member of A.A.) Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, June 14, 2004, in his 74th year. Harold Owens of Pembroke, beloved husband of Helen Owens (nee Thompson) and by first marriage of the late Velma Owens (nee McKibbon). Dear father of Harold Owens Jr., Cochrane, Ont., and Bruce Owens (Debbie Valliant), Chalk River and step-father of Larry Graham (Netty) and Ron Graham (Roseann), both of Pembroke. Loving grandfather of Brian, Kelty and Sam, Lani, Alison, Sara, Ashley, Kate and Grant and great-grandson Ethan. Brother of Laura Lachance (late Lawrence), Alda McCarthy (late Jimmy), both of Chalk River, Pat Owens (Clem), Levack, Ont., Lawrence Owens (Agnes), Victoria, B.C. and Oswald Owens (Susanne), Deep River. Predeceased by his brothers Bill Owens (late Jean), Francis Owens, Danny Owens and Bernard Owens. Brother-in-law of Irene Owens and Anna Mae Owens. Harold is survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late William and Alma (nee Couvrette) Owens. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday after 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, June 17 at 10 o'clock in St. Columbkille's Cathedral, Pembroke.
