<!-- FH = Trahan Family Funeral Home --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Harold Sherman Moore1923-2014Harold Sherman Moore, 91, peacefully left this life for eternal life with his Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Harold graduated from Winthrop High School in Winthrop, ME and attended Gorham State College. He served Honorably in WW II in the United States Army Air Corps. Harold and Clara, the LOVE of his life, were married June 1, 1946. He worked for and retired in 1977, from the U.S. Government Civil Service. During Harold's Retirement he enjoyed numerous vacations every Summer in Maine. This was his Legacy to his Family. Harold was a very dedicated Master Mason and a 33 Degree, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Mason, with over 55 years of service to Freemasonry. Harold was a Member of First Christian Church on 6031 Goodrich Drive. (Goodrich & Langley Avenue.) He was preceded in death by sons, James H. Moore and Dennis E. Moore and parents, Joseph Henry and Blanche Leech Moore. Survivors include: his loving wife of 68 years, Clara Long Moore; daughter, Kathryn (Parker) Moore; son, David S. Moore; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements.Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Winston Jay and Dr. Brian Barlow officiating. Procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. going to Barrancas National Cemetery for a 1:15 p.m. committal.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold's honor to The Pensacola Scottish Rite, 189 West Airport Blvd, and the First Christian Church, located at 6031 Goodrich Drive. Dominoes was his passion and many an opponent, particularly his great friend and fellow Mason, Terry Swiontek, will truly miss losing to him.
