BELVAL Mr. Harold Joseph Belval, age 61 of Southbury, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Danbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Leslie (Marvin) Belval. He was born in Bridgeport on May 29, 1946, the son of Cleo (Amour) Belval of Scottsdale, Ariz. and the late Henry Belval. He served in the US Navy for four years. A glazier by trade, he was a member of I.U.P.A.T. District Council II and worked for J&G Glass in Bridgeport for many years. In addition to his wife, Leslie, of 41 years and his mother, he is survived by three children, Jill Gunnoud and her husband, Christopher and their children, Sean and Ryan of Woodbury, Jeffrey Belval and his wife, Paula and their children, Emily and Meghan of Southbury and Amy Belval of Southbury; two brothers, William Belval and his wife, Marilyn of Rowe, Mass. and Richard Belval of Oxford; a sister, Patricia Abbotts of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Belval and a sister, Sandy (Belval) Moody. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Sacred Heart Church in Southbury at 10 am. Burial is at the convenience of the family.
