Funeral for Harold John Leroy Wadsworth II, 83, of Medina, Ohio, will be Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 East Liberty St., Medina, with the Rev. Dr. C. Eric Funston officiating and Waite & Son Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Wadsworth died Saturday, March 13, 2004. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Lakewood, Ohio. He was a resident of Medina County for 55 years. He was assistant to the vice president of marketing and sales for Parr Industries of Cleveland. Mr. Wadsworth served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a bombardier and ball turrett gunner on a B-24. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Judkins Wadsworth; sister, Verona Wadsworth; brothers, Griffith, Raymond, Gerald and Richard Wadsworth; also his father, Harold Leroy Wadsworth, a Lakewood policeman, and his mother, Verona Madeline Gates Wadsworth. Survivors include daughters, Madeline (James A.) Godbee of Athens and Margaret Mae Wadsworth of Medina; son, Harold Leroy (Debra) Wadsworth III of Montville Township; sister, Marabelle Eiben of Santa Rosa, Calif.; grandchildren, Christopher Lee, James Byron, Christine Elizabeth, Megan Kathleen and Debbie; and great-grandchildren, Samantha Marie, Martin Anthony, Haley Alexis and Skyler Rose.
