GRIMES, Harold Francis 98, of Seminole, passed away on Sept. 12, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Alice Brieley Grimes and 4 sons, their wives and 8 grandchildren: Robert E. and Sheila Grimes of Windsor, CT, Philip H. Grimes of Seminole; David J. and Emily Grimes of Brookings, OR and Timothy P. and Loretta Grimes of Ann Arbor, MI. He was originally from Dover, NH and was employed in the Material Testing Laboratory at the Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1978. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishoner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Petersburg. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan until the Tampa Bay Rays emerged as a force in the American League. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends at the Gardens Condominiums, particularly those in Elmwood Circle.
