Left with sorrow in their hearts are her husband of 50 years, Emil Erickson of Valley Park; and daughter Carmen Erickson (Garth) of Saskatoon; along with three sisters, Clara Hedlin (Don) of Mission, BC; Hilda Liev of Corbett, OR.;and Ruth (Johann) Hesje of Mission, BC. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, the USA, and Norway. Hanna touched many lives in her 88 years. She was a friend to many, sharing her love for cooking and planting. She loved people by feeding them, and she loved many from cooking at church camp and the Lutheran Seminary to whipping up a batch of waffles when someone dropped in unexpectedly at supper. Hanna lived out her faith, serving as Sunday School Superintendent at Zion and many other participations in the life of her church. She enjoyed taking an active role in lovingly supervising the lives of her many nieces and nephews those who have been lovingly supervised will know just what this meant. Special thanks go to Dr. B. Martens for his years of devoted attention to Hanna and Dr. N Joanis, Dr. R. Basi and the nurses on 5th Medicine at St. Paul's Hospital for the outstanding care they gave Hanna in her final days. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Kinasao Lutheran Bible Camp, Box 317, Christopher Lake, SK S0J 0N0.
