Hester Louise Perry Carter, age 88, of Franklinton, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born in Shelby County and was the daughter of the late Sam and Bertha Beckley Perry. She is survived by her husband: Carroll S. Carter of Franklinton; two sons: George Jones and Jerry Jones, both of Frankfort and one daughter, Denise Powell of Pleasureville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, (Wednesday, April 30, 2014) at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
