RAMSEY, HERBERT WILSON, 78, of Altamonte Springs, passed away February 5, 2006. He was born in Kinston, NC. He was Vice President of Engineering for Sprint and a U.S. Army veteran. Survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Laura Ellis (Seth) of Eustis; son, Walter Ramsey (Mary) of Apopka; two grandchildren, Ashley Ellis and David Ellis of Eustis; brother, Forrest Ramsey (Hilda) of Mullins, SC; sister, Jeanne Byrd (Ralph) of Silver Springs, MD; brother, Cabell Ramsey (Barbara) of Harkes Island, NC; sister, Nancy Ramsey (Frank Balaban) of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 9 at 11AM, at the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater with Dr. Larry Michaels and Dr. John Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka. Visitation for friends will be from 10AM until service time Thursday at the church.
