Helena L. McDonald Glassboro, NJ Helena L. McDonald, nee Curry, 85, of Glassboro, wife of the late Edward F. McDonald, died Friday, February 13, 2015, in Kennedy Hospital, Washington Twp. Born in Philadelphia, she has been a Glassboro resident for over 25 years. She retired in 1985 from Lexington Hotel in New York City, where she was on the housekeeping staff. She also worked at Owens-Illinois, Glassboro. Helena was a member of First United Methodist Church, was always very friendly and happy, and loved animals. Helena is survived by her daughter, Joyce White (Bernard); 2 sons, Jesse Alfred Taylor and David F. McDonald (Laura); 8 grandchildren, Audrey, Karen, Carla, Chrissy, Bobbie, Charlie, Trina and Clair; 11 great grandchildren; and her cat, Fluffy. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM in First United Methodist Church, 60 State Street, Glassboro, where friends may call after 9:00 AM.
