She was a homemaker, was very active in St. Peter and Paul's Greek Catholic Church in Peekskill, and was an avid gardener. Survivors include a daughter, Helen V. Conklin of St. Petersburg, FL., 2 sons, John H. , Vargo of Verplank, NY and Robert P. Vargo of Buchanan, NY, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 14 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 11th Street, Verplank, NY. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Broadway, Verplank, NY.
