Helen Louise Smith Of Lowell, MA LOWELL, MA -- Helen L. (Enwright) Smith, 71, a fifty year resident of Lowell, MA died Sunday July 13, 2014 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell with her family by her side.Born in Malden, MA on February 10, 1943, Helen was the daughter of the late John J. and Doris Enwright. Helen grew up in Melrose, MA and attended Melrose High School.In her early years, Helen worked as a stitcher in the textile industry in Lowell. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church of Lowell, MA. Helen volunteered for the CTI at the Immaculate Conception Church. She also volunteered as a foster grandparent in the Lowell school system. Helen enjoyed the beach, bingo, watching old time movies, gardening, crafts and baking.She is survived by four daughters, Lisa Conley and her husband Donald of Pleasanton CA, Sharon Janda and her husband John of Lowell, MA, Donna Couture and her husband Dennis of Nashua, NH, Michelle Echevarria and her husband Jorge of Puerto Rico; four sisters, Delia Strobel of Andover MA, Evelyn Haley and her husband Reed of Sebago Lake, ME, Doris Smith and her husband Roy of Melrose, MA, Nonie Ryan of Malden, MA; four sisters-in-law, Patricia, Marilyn, Gladys and Sheila Enwright; 12 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.Helen was the sister of the late Mary Agnes Sproul, the late John, Michael, Thomas and Daniel Enwright.
