MILLER, HELEN LOUISEHelen Louise Miller, a former resident of Mount Vernon and currently of New Rochelle, died on February 10, 2005. She was 78. Mrs. Miller was born on June 12, 1926 in New Castle, PA to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Walko) Palmerick. On October 9, 1949 she married Russell William Miller. He died in 1992. Mrs. Miller worked as a telephone operator at New York Telephone and later at Archer Exchange in Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Women's Auxillary of the American Legion Unit 8 and the Catholic Daughters. She was also President of the Catholic Women's Club Senior Division. She was an avid writer and poet. Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Catherine McGinness and her husband James and Dorothy Jones and her husband William; a son, Russell F. Miller and his wife Valerie; six grandchildren, Jonathon and Devin Petrucha, Daniel (Kristin), Jennifer, and Patrick Jones, and Alyson (Scott) Viola; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Ellis Jones and Jenna Viola; a sister, Dolores Cataldo; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. Mass Monday 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church.
