FERGUSON, HELEN C. Helen passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, Nov. 18, 2011. Helen was born July 2, 1943, in Birmingham, Ala., to the late John and Gladys Carroll. She was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Granade Sunday School Class. Helen was a member of the Mid-Cities Women's Christian Club. Helen was truly a child of God. Everyone loved her and she had a smile that no one could resist. She never met a stranger and everyone loved her. Helen touched many people during her life. She and Ronnie loved to travel; Helen especially loved the Rocky Mountains. Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ronnie Ferguson; children, Micheal Taylor, Kelly Martin and her husband, Roger, Craig Downing and his wife, Michelle, Jarrod Ferguson and his wife, Miranda, and Alicia Johnson and her husband, Stephen; her grandchildren, Dylan, Drake, Hunter, Hailey, Will, Drake, Corey, Shannon, Kaitlyn and Raelynn; brothers, Bill Carroll and wife, Marla, and David Carroll and wife, Debby; and last but certainly not least, her beloved dogs, Maggie and Nikki. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial in Greenpond Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Greenpond, AL. The family will received friends Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. >>
