ANDERSON, HARRIET Y.Harriet Y. Anderson, age 50 of Alachua, FL died Feb. 3, 2010 at Shands at UF. Born to the late Willie and Betty Anderson, she was a 1977 graduate of Santa Fe High School and continued her education at Webster College. She was a member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, Alachua, FL. Memories will linger on in the lives of her loving and devoted daughter, Tabitha Jenkins (Angelo Sr.) ; grandson, Angelo Carey III, all of Gainesville, FL; 4 brothers, Larry Anderson, Ray Anderson, Tony Anderson (Shevell) and Glen Anderson, all of Alachua, FL; companion, Doug Richards of Gainesville; special friends, Tammy Anderson-Flemming of High Springs, FL, Gloria Singleton of Lacrosse, FL and Ann Jones of Alachua, FL; and a host of other relatives. Funeral Services for Ms. Anderson will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at Female Protective Society Temple, Gainesville, FL with Rev. Gregory E. Pelham, Officiating. Burial will be in Newnansville Cemetery, Alachua, FL. Viewing on Friday at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 727 NW 2 STREET, GAINESVILLE, FL, 3-7 p.m. and Saturday at the Temple 1:30-2p.m. No viewing after the eulogy.
