Obituary of Hannah-C. Waldron


Hannah C. Waldron, 86 years, of Beacon, formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died October 8, 2004. Hannah was born in Shrub Oak, NY on November 21, 1917 to Emanuel and Annie Barger Anderson. She has lived in Beacon since 1981 and previously lived in the Cortlandt Manor area most of her life. She was formerly a member of the Van Cortlandtville United Methodist Church and was active in the Ladies Aid Society and the Couples Club. In later years, she was a member of the Christ Methodist Church of Beacon. Her survivors include her husband of 69 years, Howard T. Waldron, sons, James of Texas and Norman of FL, daughters Anita DeGelormo of LaGrangeville and Cindi Baxter of Milton, NY, a sister, Ethel Alberts of Shrub Oak, 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Two sons, Howard and Glen, and three brothers, Norman, Augustus, and Harold Anderson predeceased her. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Monday, October 18, 2004 at the Van Cortlandtville United Methodist Church; Locust Avenue; Van Cortlandtville, followed by Interment of her cremains at the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Putnam Valley, NY. Memorial donations in her memory to the Keon Rehabilitation Center; 200 Walter Street, Peekskill, NY 10566 would be appreciated. Arrangements handled by THE E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, INC.
