Grace Smith, 86, St. Augustine, died Jan. 28, 2015, at Flagler Hospital. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, she had been a winter resident of St. Augustine for the past 20 years and moved here permanently in 2013. She worked for Montgomery County Schools for 40 years from 1952 until retiring in 1992. She worked as a biology teacher and later in administration as a guidance counselor. She was an avid golfer and was a member of the St. Augustine Shores Ladies Golf Association and Corpus Christi Catholic Church.Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date in Mt. Carmel, PA.She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Slobizien, St. Augustine; step-children, John, Thomas, Robert, and Mary Slobozien, Anne Wagner, all of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
