Danielsville - Grace Louise Allen passed away March 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness.Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late James Billups and Hattie Lou Fitzpatrick Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Allen. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ronnie Steed of Danielsville; three grandchildren, Jonathan Steed, Ronnie Steed and Lindsey Steed, all of the home; three sisters, Lorine Privette of Comer, Mary Jean Bray of Colbert, Annie Laura (Allen) Scott of Carlton; brother, Edwin (Frances) Smith of Carlton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Billy Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Fitzpatrick Smith Cemetery, Athens, Ga. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Steed, Jonathan Steed, Steven Dudley, Michael Bishop, Talmadge Stamey and Royce Bray. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
