A homegoing service for Grace Louise Davis will be April 21 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Ararat Baptist Church. Her son Rev. J. V. Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Davis 81 died Tuesday afternoon April 18 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Mrs. Davis was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a loyal and active member of Ararat Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband R. V. Davis and her great-grandson Briley Len Davis. She is survived by her son Rev. J. V. Davis and his wife Charlotte of the Huntersville Community; four grandchildren Lance Davis Rhonda of Cordova TN Len Davis Amye Kristin Harris Rick of Jackson TN and Allison McGehee Christopher of Medina TN. Her great-grandchildren are Mitchell Russell and Anna Caroline Davis Carley and Brett Davis and Jake McGehee. Her surviving siblings are Leon and Kenneth Pounders of Tremont MS Bobbie Pounders of Rienze MS Edith Collier of Tremont MS Sue Summerford and Billie Faye Newby of Covington Indiana and Margaret Inman of Zion Illinois.
