JOHNSON, GRACE ELIZABETH - Peacefully, at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on Friday December 12, 2003, Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Johnson, wife of the late Irwin J. Johnson. Born in Hampton, NB on November 25, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Walter and Grace (Redstone) Wilson. A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Grace is survived by one son, Gordon ( Louise Clare ) of Blacks Harbour, NB, one grandson, Kaleb Johnson, one granddaughter, Kate Johnson, all of Blacks Harbour, one brother, Laurin (Gladys) of Rothesay, NB, one sister, Faith Edwards (Beverly) of Darlings Island, NB, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Irwin, she was predeceased by three brothers, Bernard, Charles, and Edward, and one sister, Annie. Grace was devoted to her faith, family, and friends. She was a member, of the Calvary United Baptist Church Choir, for more than fifty years, a member of the Womens Missionary Society, and the Willing Workers. She doted on her grandchildren and loved to travel. She was an avid gardener, and loved flowers. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held at The Calvary United Baptist Church on Monday December 15, 2003, at 2:00 pm., with Rev. Bruce Alcorn officiating. Interment will take place at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Fundy Nursing Home or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.stgeorgefh.ca
