Grace Carter, 83, widow of Isaac Carter, formerly of Oak St., Lydia Mill, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at Laurens County Hospital. Born in Etna, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Jess and Jennie Bell Smith Cuzzort. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sons, Larry Carter of Waterloo and Allen Carter of Piedmont; a sister, Gladys Cochran, of Alstell, Ga.; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation: Today, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton. Graveside service: 3 p.m. today at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
