Miller, Grace B., 93, of Miami, Tamarac and Coral Springs, FL, died April 11, 2005 in her home after a brief illness. Grace was born July 8, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Harold A. Miller on October 3, 1936 in Chicago. In 1946 she moved to Miami. In addition to being a devoted mother to her 5 children, she worked in her husband's real estate office for many years. She was a leader for the Mother's Club at Sts. Peter & Paul School. Went to daily Mass and was a member of the Daughter's of Isabel. She was also active in the American Red Cross. She moved to Tamarac after Harold died and was a volunteer for 25 years at the Lighthouse of Broward County. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Malachy's with her dear friend from kindergarten, Florence Barr. She administered to the sick every chance she had and enjoyed many dear friends. In 2000 she decided to move to Park Summit, an independent living facility in Coral Springs. She was a member of the "Young at Heart Club" at St. Andrews Catholic Church and the prayer group. She was the oldest person last year to make an Emmaus Retreat at St. Andrews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1973 and her step-daughter Marilyn Malley in 2001. Grace is survived by her 5 children Marcia Due (Hans), Vero Beach; Rosemary Lettiere (Dominic), Vero Beach; Robert Miller (Bonnie), Hollywood; Tom Miller (Virginia); Ft. Lauderdale; Harley Miller (Sue), Pompano Beach; step-daughter Doris Toner, Blairsville, GA.; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grand children. Visitation Thursday 3-8 PM with a Rosary Service Thursday 7:30 PM at Panciera Memorial Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, April 15, 2005, 12 noon at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Coral Springs followed by interment at Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Miami. Grace loved to laugh and have fun with her many friends, but her happiest times were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grand children who loved her dearly and will miss her forever.
