LEE, Gordon RichardMarch 12, 1926 - November 26, 2012Gordon (Bud, Dad, Grandpa, Gramps, Poppy) passed away peacefully, at the age of 86. Dad was born in Calgary and grew up in Cherry Creek, Port Alberni. He went overseas in WWII and then married Signe Anderson and they raised a family together in the Lower Mainland. Dad worked as a sawyer at Eburne Sawmills for 45 years, loved the outdoors and his cabin in Sechelt. He battled Parkinson Disease for the last 8 years of his life. He is survived by his children, Sherry (Lloyd), Linda (David), Susan (Lloyd) and Daniel (Margaret), 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Our heart felt thank you to the staff at George Derby Centre, for all the care and support given to him. Family will be Celebrating his Life on Saturday, December 15th. We will cherish our memories of him and will remember him forever in our hearts as a loving family man.
