SmithGreerGloria Hewitt Smith, 86, of 803 Brookdale Drive, widow of Fred Edgar Smith, died April 9, 2012 at her home.A native of North Carolina, daughter of the late Charles and Estelle Johnson Hewitt, she was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James T. and Pam Henderson of Simpsonville; two daughters and son-in-law, Lana and Buck Staton of Landrum and Sandra Bridwell of Greer; three sisters, Sylvia Mason and Geraldine Parris both of Greer and Sue Poole of Virginia; six grandchildren, Jason Bridwell, Rhonda Bryant, Denise Cantrell, Tammy Thompson, James Henderson and Billy Henderson; and eleven great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev.
