DELMAR Gloria M. Johnson, died on July 15, 2006 at home after a long illness surrounded by her family. Gloria celebrated her 56th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband Francis (Frank) on April 22, 2006. Gloria worked for the Town of Bethlehem in the Parks and Recreation Department for several years, retiring from Bethlehem Town Hall as Deputy Town Clerk in 1995. She was a member of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Delmar where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a former member of the Altar Rosary Society. Gloria is the loving mother of Annette Ridley and her husband, Michael of Cheltenham, England, Gloria Anne Moak and her husband James of Delmar, Francis Johnson and his wife Mary of Glenmont and Margaret Meg Ignacio and her husband Ray of Ellicott City, Maryland. Gloria is the sister of Maria Snyder, Helen Johnson, Blanche DelSeni, Eugene and Edward Sallusto and the late Herbert, Charles and Caesar Sallusto and Anne and Connie Maffei. She is the grandmother of Matthew and Mary-Francis Johnson and Amanda and Hannah Ignacio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Delmar. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Durant Funeral Home, 17 Languish Pl., Glenmont. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
