Honor Memorial In Loving Memory of Mrs. Gloria Daughtry Johnson September 30, 1938 - October 6, 1989 We will always remember Gloria's dedicated life involvement in Savannah in First Bryan Baptist Church; Asbury United Methodist Church; Gilbert Haven and Pulaski Elementary schools; Armstrong and Savannah State University's Graduate school; A.E. Beach Class of 1956 Alumni Activities; CAE, GAE, and NEA educational associations; Officer in the International Reading Association; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, NAACP, Union representative for the Derest Bakery Co. employees, officer and member of the Variety Garden Club and seamstress for many less fortunate families. She was a dedicated wife for twenty five years and a devoted school teacher for seventeen years. God bless the life of Gloria Daughtry Johnson. Seventy-five bibles were given to three churches in honor of her. We thank God for the life of a loving and compassionate lady.
