Gloria Ponease Johnson, of 600 Rye Court, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Clark and Lula Mae Baker Johnson.Survivors: a daughter, Jacqueline Gary of Taylors; a son, Jason Ellis of Atlanta, Ga.; and six grandchildren.Funeral service: 4:30 p.m. today at Rock of Ages Baptist Church.The family is at the home. -- Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
