Gloria Jean Scott, 60, died Jan. 26, 2008, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. She was born in Parksville, S.C., and lived in Fort Pierce for 55 years, coming from Monetta, S.C. She attended Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce. Survivors include son, Jerome Scott of Fort Pierce; daughter, Sheritta Scott of Fort Pierce; stepfather, John Scott of Fort Pierce; brother, Tommy Martin of Fort Pierce; sister, Rosa Hendrix of Monetta, S.C.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William Gunter and mother, Mamie Lee Scott. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 2 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Feb. 2 at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
