He was retired after many years of service at Lilly Tulip / Owens of Illinois. He was a talented Knife maker, and one of the best pool players in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen George and Geneva (Dotson) Carter, and his sister Beverly Carter Brown.He is survived by his wife of 51 years Antoinette (Toni) Marie Satterfield Carter; 4 children: Glenn Dale Carter Jr.,Robert (Bobby) Carter, Tina (Carter) Wardlaw, And Brenda Carter; 5 Grandchildren: Bob, Kayla, Harley, Josh, and Devin; 5 great grandchildren: Zachery, Natalie, Phillip, Ansley, and Katie; 2 sisters: Janice Bryant and Evelyn Fender; a brother Larry Carter; and host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be Friday December 9th from 6 pm until 8 pm, and the funeral will be at 2 pm on Saturday, December 10th, in Greenlawn East in Springfield, MO.
