Glenda, 58, died of cancer on November 17, 2012, in Lacey, WA. She was born September 19, 1954, to Ed and Mollie Mintert in Dyersburg, TN. She graduated from Cahokia High School, attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM, and received an AA degree from Walter State Community College in Morristown, TN. She was married to Jimmy Helton, and later married Richard Wilson on May 7, 1980, in Effingham, IL.From 1993 to 2007, Glenda was an LPTA at Takoma Adventist Hospital in Greeneville, TN. She loved art, especially drawing, and was an NRA hunter pistol shooting competitor. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and United Methodist Church in Logan, NM, and a member of Friends of Ute Lake State Park.Glenda is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Jim Helton of Greeneville, TN, and Jason Helton of Lacey, WA; brothers, Dennis Mintert of Brighton, IL, and Tracy Mintert of Effingham, IL; sister,She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny Dawson of Colllinsville, IL; and sister, Vickie Pace of Alton, IL.No services are planned.
